An opportunity is available for a Mammography Technologist to support diagnostic imaging services in the Sacramento area. This position offers a contract arrangement with flexible scheduling and potential for overtime hours, ideal for professionals seeking to expand their experience in mammography.
Location:
Position is based in Citrus Heights, CA, a vibrant community just outside of Sacramento. This area offers convenient access to urban amenities, outdoor recreational opportunities, and a welcoming local atmosphere.
Schedule:
- 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts
- Guaranteed 30 hours per week
- Ample overtime available
Responsibilities:
- Perform mammographic imaging procedures with precision and care
- Operate specialized imaging equipment safely and effectively
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to support diagnostic processes
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Certification and training in Mammography Technology (Mammo Tech)
- Proven skills in imaging procedures specific to mammography
- Ability to adapt to floating within an hours radius of Sacramento (travel expenses covered by client)
- Strong communication and patient care skills
