Responsibilities:
- Perform digital mammography procedures with precision and compassion.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain accurate patient records.
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and clear communication.
- Operate imaging equipment, troubleshoot issues, and report equipment malfunctions.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure quality diagnostic outcomes.
- Maintain strict compliance with federal, state, and organizational guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Current certification in Mammography (ARRT (M) or equivalent).
- Active state licensure for radiologic technologists, if required.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and patient care skills.
- Previous experience in digital mammography imaging.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Duties:
- Review patient history and physicians notes before imaging.
- Monitor patient during procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
- Clearly document procedures and maintain confidentiality.
- Stay updated on advances in mammography technology and best practices.
