Job Description

Step into a dynamic role within a respected imaging team specializing in mammography. This contract position offers the chance to work across various departments on a renowned medical campus, providing essential screening and diagnostic services to a diverse patient population.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday, with Saturday rotation
• Day shifts between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM (hours may vary based on department needs)
• 5x8-hour shifts per week
• On call required as needed: NO
• Floating to different departments within the main campus is required

Qualifications:

• Valid California Mammography Tech license and CRT (M) (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• ARRT certification (highly preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years mammography experience (required)
• First-time travelers accepted

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms (both 2D and 3D)
• Conduct wire and radar localizations, as well as stereotactic biopsies
• Deliver compassionate, safe, and effective patient care
• Manage a daily caseload of approximately 150 mammography procedures alongside a skilled team
• Float between departments within the main campus to support imaging needs as required
• Maintain equipment, follow imaging protocols, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
