Job Description
Step into a dynamic role within a respected imaging team specializing in mammography. This contract position offers the chance to work across various departments on a renowned medical campus, providing essential screening and diagnostic services to a diverse patient population.
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday through Friday, with Saturday rotation
- Day shifts between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM (hours may vary based on department needs)
- 5x8-hour shifts per week
- On call required as needed: NO
- Floating to different departments within the main campus is required
Qualifications:
- Valid California Mammography Tech license and CRT (M) (required)
- BLS certification (required)
- ARRT certification (highly preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years mammography experience (required)
- First-time travelers accepted
Role Responsibilities:
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms (both 2D and 3D)
- Conduct wire and radar localizations, as well as stereotactic biopsies
- Deliver compassionate, safe, and effective patient care
- Manage a daily caseload of approximately 150 mammography procedures alongside a skilled team
- Float between departments within the main campus to support imaging needs as required
- Maintain equipment, follow imaging protocols, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
