Qualifications & Experience Required:

• Current certification in radiologic technology (ARRT) with a mammography credential
• Experience performing digital mammography exams in a healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of imaging safety protocols and quality standards
• Excellent communication skills when interacting with patients and clinical staff
• Ability to adapt quickly, multitask, and maintain accuracy under varying workloads
• Flexibility to support team workflows and collaborative care

Typical Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine and specialized mammography examinations, ensuring patient comfort and privacy throughout each procedure
• Operate digital mammography equipment, optimizing image quality and minimizing patient radiation exposure
• Review, prepare, and maintain patient records and documentation according to facility protocols
• Effectively communicate results, follow-up processes, and clinical instructions to patients as appropriate
• Assist radiologists by providing high-quality images and supporting diagnostic needs
• Ensure all equipment is maintained, cleaned, and ready for use, reporting issues immediately as needed
• Practice and uphold infection control and radiation safety standards at all times
