Qualifications:

• Current certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT required; Mammography certification strongly preferred)
• Valid state licensure to practice as a Radiologic Technologist
• Minimum of one year of recent mammography imaging experience
• Strong knowledge of breast anatomy and positioning for optimal imaging
• Proficiency with digital mammography equipment and PACS
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality protocols
• Collaborative team player with excellent communication and patient care skills

Schedule/Hours:

• Schedule provided upon interview; flexibility may be required based on patient needs

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography exams in accordance with established protocols
• Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and safety throughout each procedure
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including imaging documentation and reports
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and support staff to deliver seamless imaging care
• Ensure optimal functioning of imaging equipment through daily checks and basic troubleshooting
• Educate and guide patients through mammography procedures, providing reassurance and addressing questions
• Uphold all infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards within the imaging center
