A travel opportunity is available for an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist specializing in imaging. This role requires candidates to live at least 100 miles from Wellington, FL, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, including on-call responsibilities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Associates Degree or equivalent with completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program
- Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and current state/district license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a radiological setting
- Familiarity with state Radiation Quality Standards
- Successful completion of a radiological program
Responsibilities:
- Perform radiological functions related to special procedures and interventional examinations
- Assist physicians during interventional procedures and provide diagnostic imaging support
- Conduct organ or body scans on patients as required
- Administer and document isotope dosages following established protocols
- Monitor patients during procedures and promptly report any abnormal activity to ensure safety and care quality
