Qualifications & Experience:

• Successful completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Valid ARRT certification in Radiography, with IR specialization preferred
• Current state licensure as required
• Prior experience in a hospital or imaging centers IR department
• Proficiency in operating interventional radiology equipment and following sterile techniques
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure or fast-paced clinical situations

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of complex IR procedures, including diagnostic and therapeutic interventions under physician direction
• Prepare patients for IR studies, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort
• Accurately operate and maintain imaging equipment
• Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety protocols for patients and staff
• Monitor patient status throughout procedures, responding promptly to any complications
• Document procedure details and maintain accurate records in accordance with facility policies
• Support physicians by assisting with procedural setup and ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are available
