Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications:

• Valid NY state license
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years experience in radiologic imaging, preferably in interventional radiology

Key Responsibilities:

• Select exposure factors and position patients to capture high-quality diagnostic images
• Collaborate with team members and radiologists; contribute to a supportive, solution-oriented work environment
• Administer oral contrast when required per exam protocols
• Prepare and instruct patients; assist physicians during neuro IR and radiographic/fluoroscopic procedures
• Operate all x-ray, CR, and DR equipment; report malfunctions promptly
• Complete procedures efficiently while supporting related department tasks such as stocking, transport, or clerical work, particularly during downtime
• Maintain strict standards for medication security and data confidentiality in compliance with all regulations
• Utilize HIS, RIS, and PACS systems for information management
• Participate in quality improvement projects and respond to technical inquiries with professionalism
