Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Active NY state license for radiologic technologists
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum two years relevant experience in radiology, with interventional radiology experience preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality images, ensuring correct exposure, positioning, and protocol compliance
• Collaborate with staff to troubleshoot daily challenges and champion a respectful, positive workplace
• Maintain compassionate patient interactions, assist in procedures, administer oral contrast, and educate patients throughout exams
• Ensure medication security and adhere to all safety standards
• Perform documentation using HIS, RIS, and PACS, protecting confidentiality per hospital policy
• Take part in departmental quality initiatives and performance improvement projects
• Communicate expertly with hospital personnel and physicians, including fielding technical inquiries
