Job Description

A unique opportunity is available for a skilled Imaging - IR Tech to provide specialized interventional radiology services in a dynamic healthcare environment located in Waukesha, WI. This contract position offers a structured schedule and the chance to apply your expertise in neuro and general IR procedures while supporting a team dedicated to excellent patient care.

Location: Situated near Milwaukee, this role allows easy access to urban amenities and a range of cultural and recreational activities. Waukesha is known for its beautiful parks, museums, and community events, providing a well-rounded lifestyle outside of work.

Schedule & Hours:

  • Shift: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Four 9-hour shifts per week
  • Call schedule based on departmental needs (7 days on call, 7 days off)
  • Weekday call hours: 14.5 hours
  • Weekend call hours: 24 hours
  • Weekend on-call rotation every other weekend
  • Holiday call required as needed (minimum one holiday during contract)

Responsibilities:

  • Perform interventional radiology procedures including neuro IR with precision and care
  • Utilize EPIC electronic health records for documentation and coordination
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Flexibly support different sites within a 40-mile radius as operational needs dictate
  • Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards throughout all imaging procedures

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active BLS certification
  • ARRT registration
  • Valid Wisconsin Radiographer License
  • Previous experience in Interventional Radiology, neuro IR preferred
  • Proficiency with EPIC or similar electronic health records system
