Job Description
Bring your expertise in Interventional Radiology to a dynamic healthcare setting where your skills will be valued and your professional growth encouraged. This contract role plays a vital part in delivering high-quality imaging services and patient care, contributing to positive clinical outcomes.
Schedule/Hours:
- 0700-1700, four 9-hour shifts per week
- Rotating on-call schedule: 7 days on-call (Monday-Sunday), then 7 days off-call
- Call hours: Monday-Friday (14.5 hours each), Saturday-Sunday (24 hours each)
- Every-other-weekend on-call rotation
- Holiday call coverage as needed (at least one holiday if it falls within contract)
Qualifications:
- BLS certification (current)
- ARRT registration required
- Active Wisconsin Radiographer License
- Prior IR experience, with Neuro IR strongly preferred
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
- Willingness to float onsite within skill set and to nearby locations within a 40-mile radius if necessary
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic IR procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to deliver top-tier patient care in fast-paced scenarios
- Accurately document all imaging and procedures using EPIC
- Respond efficiently to urgent on-call needs, including weekend and holiday coverage
- Travel as needed to affiliated sites within the local area to maintain optimal staffing levels
