Desired Qualifications:
- Current ARRT certification in Radiology with IR specialty.
- Valid, unrestricted state license (or eligibility for Connecticut licensure).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Interventional Radiology.
- Expertise with fluoroscopic and radiographic imaging equipment.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures under the guidance of radiologists.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
- Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring safety protocols and compassionate care throughout.
- Monitor patient status and respond swiftly to changes during procedures.
- Document procedures, maintain records, and facilitate continuity of care with the interdisciplinary team.
