Job Description
Embark on a rewarding opportunity as an Interventional Radiology Technologist in a patient-focused environment renowned for innovative care and clinical excellence. Schedule:
- Days, 5x8-hour shifts
- 36 guaranteed weekly hours
- Weekend and call coverage as required by the department
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent, relevant experience in Interventional Radiology
- Advanced registry (CI, VI, RCIS) or ARRT (R) required
- BLS certification must be from the American Heart Association
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR preferred
- Seasonal flu vaccination or an approved medical/religious exemption required from November 1 to April 1 (declinations not accepted)
- Professionalism reflected in appearance, with black scrubs required; open-toed shoes and torn clothing are not permitted
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and invasive IR procedures with attention to quality and safety standards
- Scrub assist, record images, and operate essential equipment during procedures
- Correctly administer and monitor contrast agents, reviewing medication reconciliation for contraindications
- Consistently monitor patient condition before, during, and after procedures
- Employ proper patient transfer and immobilization techniques
- Float to other areas of the department as required
