Schedule:

• Days, 5x8-hour shifts
• 36 guaranteed weekly hours
• Weekend and call coverage as required by the department

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent, relevant experience in Interventional Radiology
• Advanced registry (CI, VI, RCIS) or ARRT (R) required
• BLS certification must be from the American Heart Association
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR preferred
• Seasonal flu vaccination or an approved medical/religious exemption required from November 1 to April 1 (declinations not accepted)
• Professionalism reflected in appearance, with black scrubs required; open-toed shoes and torn clothing are not permitted

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and invasive IR procedures with attention to quality and safety standards
• Scrub assist, record images, and operate essential equipment during procedures
• Correctly administer and monitor contrast agents, reviewing medication reconciliation for contraindications
• Consistently monitor patient condition before, during, and after procedures
• Employ proper patient transfer and immobilization techniques
• Float to other areas of the department as required
