Job Description
An opportunity is available for an experienced Imaging IR Tech to contribute expertise in a dynamic healthcare environment. This position is located in South Bend, IN, and offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Weekend and on-call obligations are part of the role, with 4-5 nights on call per pay period, including one weekend per month. Candidates responding to calls must be able to do so within 30 minutes.
Key Qualifications and Certifications:
- Active ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred but not mandatory
- Proven experience as an Imaging IR Tech, demonstrating proficiency with interventional radiology technology and procedures
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality interventional radiology imaging and related procedures with precision and care
- Prepare and maintain imaging equipment for accurate diagnostics
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient care
- Respond promptly to on-call duties ensuring timely support and availability
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
