Job Description

A skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist opportunity is available to work in Sauk Rapids, MN, on a contract basis. This role focuses on providing expert support in a dynamic interventional radiology environment, performing a variety of imaging procedures vital to patient diagnostics and treatment.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 4 x 9-hour shifts, daytime (7:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
  • Approximately 36 hours per week
  • Call shifts: 1-2 weekdays and 1 weekend every 4 weeks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scrub in, annotate, and send quality images to PACS
  • Circulate during interventional radiology procedures
  • Support completion of procedures such as angiograms, atherectomy, dialysis fistulagram/declot, nephrostomy tubes, biliary tubes, embolizations, ports, and more
  • Work collaboratively in two IR rooms alongside radiologists, nurses, and fellow techs

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of IR tech experience
  • ARRT certification and BLS required
  • Hands-on knowledge of peripheral procedures
  • Preferred experience with Toshiba or Canon interventional imaging equipment
  • Familiarity with nephrograms, kyphoplasty, internal/external biliary drainage, and venous access
