An opportunity is available for an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist skilled in Imaging to support advanced procedures in a well-equipped setting. This contract role offers a structured 4x9 day schedule designed to promote work-life balance while engaging in critical patient care.
Location:
Positioned in Sartell, MN, the assignment is within a 25-mile radius and connected to a reputable healthcare facility known for comprehensive interventional radiology services. Sartell offers a blend of small-town comforts and proximity to larger city amenities, making it an attractive place to live and work.
Schedule/Hours:
- 4x9 hour days, daytime shift: 7:00 AM 4:30 PM
- Approximately 36 hours per week
- On-call responsibilities include 1-2 weekday call shifts and 1 weekend call shift per 4-week cycle
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience
- ARRT certification required
- BLS certification required
- Experience with peripheral interventions highly preferred
- Familiarity with Toshiba/Cannon interventional rooms preferred
- Knowledge of procedures such as nephrogram, kyphoplasty, internal/external biliary drainage, and venous access is advantageous
Responsibilities:
- Scrubbing in for procedures, circulating during cases
- Annotating and transmitting imaging to PACS for radiologist review
- Supporting a variety of IR procedures including lower and upper extremity angiograms, atherectomy, mesenteric interventions, dialysis fistulagrams/declots, nephrostomy tube placement, biliary tube management, embolizations, and port insertions
- Collaborating with two interventional radiologists and an interprofessional team including nurses on each shift and call
