Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current certification and strong proficiency in Interventional Radiology (IR) imaging procedures
- Valid ARRT (R) certification; ARRT (VI) preferred
- Active state radiologic technologist license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Advanced knowledge of sterile technique, radiation safety, and interventional equipment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience working in high-volume healthcare settings is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a broad range of IR procedures including venograms, angioplasties, stent placements, and biopsies
- Support physicians and fellow clinicians during procedures, maintaining a sterile field at all times
- Ensure accurate imaging, patient documentation, and adherence to regulatory protocols
- Troubleshoot and maintain IR equipment for optimal function and safety
- Contribute to patient care planning and educate patients/families on procedures as needed
