Job Description

A skilled Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist is needed for a contract opportunity in Saint Cloud, MN, supporting a busy interventional radiology department. This role offers an engaging 4x9 day schedule with consistent hours and call responsibilities, providing exposure to diverse procedures and teamwork with experienced radiologists and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with imaging procedures by scrubbing, annotating, and sending images to PACS
  • Circulate during interventions and support procedures such as angiograms, atherectomies, dialysis fistulagrams, nephrostomy tube placements, biliary drainages, embolizations, and port insertions
  • Maintain readiness for call shifts, providing expert imaging support during urgent cases
  • Work collaboratively with two IR rooms staffed by technologists, nurses, and radiologists

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of IR technologist experience
  • ARRT certification required
  • Current BLS certification
  • Experience with peripheral interventions strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with Toshiba/Cannon interventional imaging equipment is a plus
  • Additional experience with nephrogram, kyphoplasty, biliary drainage, and venous access encouraged

Schedule:

  • 4x9 hour shifts, 07:00 16:30 or 08:00 17:30
  • Approximately 36 hours per week
  • Call rotation includes 1-2 call shifts during the week plus 1 weekend call every 4 weeks
