Qualifications:
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification, with IR specialty required
- State license (as applicable)
- Minimum of one year of recent IR Tech experience in a clinical or hospital setting
- Proficiency in procedures such as angiography, vascular access, and image-guided interventions
- Strong technical and patient communication skills
- BLS certification (AHA preferred)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate imaging equipment for interventional radiology procedures
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to deliver safe, quality patient care
- Adhere strictly to sterile techniques and radiation safety protocols
- Document patient records and imaging data accurately
- Welcome and reassure patients throughout procedures
- Maintain equipment and inventory for the IR suite
