Desired Qualifications:
- Active Licensing in the state of NY
- Two years of experience in radiology, ideally in interventional radiology
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- Adaptability and eagerness to learn new modalities
Key Responsibilities:
- Select and set exposure factors for radiologic imaging; ensure consistently high diagnostic quality
- Collaborate effectively to resolve departmental issues efficiently
- Display professionalism, compassion, and accountability with patients and colleagues
- Administer oral contrast, and prepare patients for radiographic/fluoroscopic exams, assisting Radiologists during procedures
- Operate all x-ray equipment, CR, and DR systems proficiently; report equipment issues promptly
- Maintain medication security, assist with departmental duties, and ensure timely completion of procedures
- Demonstrate competency delivering care and communication to patients of all ages
- Utilize Hospital Information System (HIS), Radiology Information System (RIS), and PACS effectively
- Maintain confidentiality and participate in ongoing process improvements
