Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification with a focus on Radiography; IR certification preferred.
- Minimum of one year of recent experience as an IR Technologist in a clinical or hospital setting.
- Extensive knowledge of radiation safety, sterile techniques, and advanced imaging technology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
- Ability to troubleshoot imaging equipment and adjust technical factors to ensure optimal image quality.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Schedule/Hours:

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times.
- Collaborate with interventional radiologists to deliver a wide range of minimally invasive, image-guided procedures.
- Monitor patients throughout the procedures, providing updates to physicians and responding appropriately to any changes.
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate imaging equipment following safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines.
- Accurately document procedure details and patient records in accordance with hospital policies.
- Adhere to all infection control, safety regulations, and confidentiality standards.
