Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and assist with a wide range of IR procedures including kyphoplasty, vertebroplasty, central line placements, fistulograms, IVC filter insertions, coil embolizations, and neuro IR cases such as stroke interventions and embolizations.
• Scrub and pan simultaneously during procedures with two techs supporting each exam room.
• Support neuro and general IR call rotations, with weekday and weekend call responsibilities.
• Utilize Siemens, GE imaging equipment, and PACS (Change Healthcare) to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, hospitalists, and nursing staff.
• Adhere to protocols, maintain proper documentation, and support efficient charge/coding processes (preferred but not required).

Qualifications:

• Valid RT(R) certification (ARRT).
• Wisconsin state licensure.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum one year of IR experience; first-time travelers welcomed if they have IR background.
• Comfortable working with adult patient populations; pediatric cases are not included.
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
• Ability to respond to calls within 30 minutes.

Schedule:

• Weekday and weekend call rotations (1 weekday call per week, 1 call every 5th weekend).
• Shift times vary by area of expertise with flexibility offered (e.g., four 10-hour shifts).
• Orientation with experienced preceptor for 1-2 weeks.
