Assignment Details:
- Schedule: 4x10s, Mon-Fri, 0900-1930, rotating day off, with on-call rotation
- Length: 13 weeks
- Shifts: AM, On-call required
- Float/Weekend: Yes
- Interview: Virtual, one round
- Location Requirement: Must be able to report onsite within 30 minutes of call
- Scrubs: Provided by the hospital
Step into a challenging Interventional Radiology setting as an IR Technologist. You will be responsible for performing high-quality IR procedures under the supervision of a radiologist, optimizing imaging quality, ensuring patient safety, maintaining meticulous documentation, and assisting with procedure prep and post-care.
Qualifications/Experience:
- 2+ years of IR experience in trauma-body and neuro-stroke
- ARRT (required), TX-MRT, BLS (AHA only)
- EPIC EMR experience (preferred)
- Level I Trauma experience (preferred)
- ARRT-VI certification (preferred)
- Ability to effectively communicate and put patients at ease
- Experience providing age-appropriate care from newborn to geriatric
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform interventional radiology procedures per protocol
- Prepare, position, and monitor patients for procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and radiation standards
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment and supplies
- Serve as a preceptor and provide training when necessary
- Respond quickly to on-call duties and maintain professionalism under stress
