Job Description

A skilled Imaging - IR Tech is needed for a contract position in Plainfield, IL. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced imaging technologies in a dynamic healthcare environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain imaging equipment for interventional radiology procedures
  • Assist physicians during imaging procedures to ensure accurate and safe image capture
  • Manage patient care before, during, and after imaging sessions, ensuring comfort and safety
  • Maintain detailed patient records and imaging reports
  • Adhere to all regulatory standards and hospital policies regarding radiation safety and infection control

Qualifications:

  • Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist or equivalent licensure
  • Demonstrated experience with IR imaging equipment and techniques
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and imaging protocols
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
