Qualifications:

• Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with a current state license in Radiography
• Specialized training or experience in Interventional Radiology procedures
• Knowledgeable in sterile technique and radiological safety standards
• Proficient in operating fluoroscopy equipment, digital imaging systems, and vascular imaging modalities
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex procedural protocols
• Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and fellow technologists
• CPR certification required; ACLS preferred

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of diagnostic and interventional radiological procedures under the supervision of physicians
• Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and adherence to safety protocols
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, while monitoring and documenting radiation doses
• Maintain sterile fields and assist with inventory/replenishment of supplies
• Communicate effectively with the care team to support optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document procedures, patient histories, and imaging results within electronic records
• Observe and comply with all hospital policies, regulations, and best practices for patient safety
