Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel assignment (full-time)

Qualifications:

  • Two (2) years of experience in interventional radiology or imaging; previous neuro IR experience is valuable but not required (training is provided)
  • Current BLS certification via American Heart Association
  • Active New York state RT license required

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality radiologic imaging through careful selection of exposure factors and patient positioning
  • Collaborate effectively with the radiology team to resolve issues quickly and efficiently
  • Display flexibility and professionalism in every interaction with patients, families, and colleagues
  • Administer oral contrast as required and skillfully assist radiologists during fluoroscopic procedures
  • Operate all x-ray, CR, and DR systems proficiently, reporting any technical issues
  • Engage in department performance improvement initiatives and maintain strict confidentiality with patient information
  • Utilize hospital information and PACS systems, handle telephone inquiries, and support procedural documentation
