Key Qualifications:
- Current certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT) with designation in Interventional Radiology.
- Valid and up-to-date state licensure as required.
- Proven experience in interventional radiology settings with demonstrated proficiency in imaging procedures.
- Solid knowledge of sterile techniques, radiation safety, and operation of IR-specific equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with healthcare professionals and patient interaction.
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assist in a variety of interventional procedures, ensuring all protocols and safety standards are observed.
- Operate imaging equipment accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, reporting any changes to the healthcare team promptly.
- Maintain accurate documentation of imaging procedures and patient records.
- Work efficiently alongside physicians, nurses, and other staff to deliver coordinated care.
- Assist with maintaining equipment and ensure the procedural area is clean and fully stocked.
