Expand your skills as an Interventional Radiology Tech by collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, siloed setup. Experience diverse workplace practices and leadership styles, all while adapting to new technologyincluding Siemens Artis systemsand handling a range of complex procedures. This assignment will strengthen your resume through exposure to both peripheral and light neurovascular cases, and scrub experience is essential for success.
Schedule/Hours:
- Days, 10-hour shifts
- Monday through Friday
- No weekend or routine holiday requirements
- Occasional call as needed
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- 2 years IR and scrub experience required (3 years/larger hospital experience preferred)
- ARRT Radiography certification required
- Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license must be in hand prior to starting
- Familiarity with Siemens Artis icono, Q, and zee systems
- Experience managing high daily patient volumes
- Must be nicotine free
- New graduates not accepted
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with a high volume of IR procedures (6065 cases/day)
- Scrub and circulate in a sil o setup, supporting all lines for hospital and outpatient cases
- Float to other IR units within the hospital as needed
- Operate and troubleshoot Siemens imaging equipment
