Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
  • Valid state license in radiologic technology.
  • Previous experience as an IR Tech or in interventional imaging strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with imaging equipment and sterile techniques.
  • Outstanding communication and patient-focused skills.
  • Capability to assess and respond to emergent situations with a calm, solutions-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate advanced imaging equipment for diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures.
  • Prepare and position patients safely for a variety of IR procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and other team members to ensure precise image acquisition and patient safety.
  • Adhere strictly to infection control standards, equipment protocols, and quality assurance measures.
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, providing reassurance and responding promptly to any concerns.
  • Document procedures and maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records.
  • Support physicians during minimally invasive image-guided treatments.
