In this role, you'll work within a Level II Trauma Center with a Level III NICU and Primary Stroke Center designation. Youll be exposed to state-of-the-art technology and a collaborative team environment where IR techs and nurses work side by side to deliver top-tier care. Scrubbing into both body and neuro IR cases, youll play a critical part in the procedure room and expand your skill set through ongoing learning and diverse hands-on experience. Schedule:
- 7:00 am 5:30 pm, four days per week
- Solo call one weekday per week (5:30 pm 7:00 am)
- Every third weekend on call (Friday 5:30 pm Monday 7:00 am)
- Opportunity for approved time off
- Holiday call rotation as needed
Qualifications:
- ARRT certification and BLS required
- At least 2 years of technician experience (IR and/or critical care)
- Proficiency in scrubbing and circulating cases
- Previous experience with neuro and general IR, biopsies, fistulas, and drains
Role Responsibilities:
- Assist during diverse IR procedures alongside providers, including body and neuro IR
- Perform case scrubbing, circulating, filming, and EPIC documentation
- Ensure timely image transfer to PACS
- Serve as solo call tech for both IR areas as scheduled
- Float to assist in imaging, CT, and MRI procedures
- Support patient care in a pre/post setting with 1:13 ratios
