Schedule:
- Full-time travel assignment
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
- Registered with ARRT (R.T.)(R) or equivalent
- State licensure as required by Virginia
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technologist or IR tech program
- At least 2 years of recent IR experience in a clinical setting
- Familiarity with current imaging and safety protocols
- BLS certification (current and active)
- Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
- Perform all aspects of interventional radiology imaging with emphasis on patient safety and optimal imaging results
- Prepare, position, and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
- Operate advanced imaging equipment and assist physicians with interventional procedures
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with facility protocols and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for quality patient care
