This contract position offers a focused role supporting critical vascular and neurovascular procedures, contributing directly to patient outcomes in a level 1 trauma center known for cutting-edge care.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
- Proficiency in both peripheral vascular and neurovascular IR procedures, including stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, drainages, vascular studies, venous access, neurological studies, and more
- Certification requirements include BLS and ARRT
- Skilled in scrubbing and circulating in a fast-paced IR lab, adept with Siemens single plane and biplane C-arms
- Ability to work collaboratively in a two-tech team per IR room setup

Responsibilities:
- Support complex interventional procedures including embolizations, nephrostomies, IVC filter placements, and thrombectomies
- Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment in a four-room IR department
- Participate in an on-call schedule every third or fourth weekend, providing critical coverage for emergency cases
- Manage call shift policies including make-up shifts or contract extensions as necessary
Schedule/Hours:
- Night shifts, 4 days per week, 10 hours each (21:00 - 07:00)
