A travel opportunity is available for an experienced Interventional Radiologic Technologist (IR Tech) specializing in general and neuro IR procedures. This role supports a busy, Level III Trauma Center equipped with comprehensive cardiac and stroke services. The unit performs a high volume of complex imaging procedures using Siemens and GE equipment, with the patient population consisting primarily of adult patients.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Registered Technologist in Radiology (RT[R]) with ARRT certification
- Current Wisconsin state license
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 1-year IR experience accepted; first-time travelers with IR experience welcome
- Proficient in scrubbing and panning during general IR procedures such as kyphoplasty, central line placements, nephrostomy tubes, and coil embolizations
- Experience with coding and charging is a plus but not mandatory
- Neuro IR experience preferred for call responsibilities
Responsibilities / Duties:
- Perform a variety of general and neuro IR imaging procedures in a 24/7 staffed department
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including lead techs, coordinators, respiratory therapy, and hospitalists
- Respond to call shifts as scheduled, generally one weekday call and every fifth weekend call
- Utilize EPIC EMR and imaging software such as Change Healthcare PACS
- Operate advanced imaging devices including MedRad injectors and assist with procedures using IVUS, ultrasound, and laser equipment
Schedule / Hours:
- Weekday call: 1 shift per week, typically ending at 0700 the following day
- Weekend call: Once every 5th weekend, ending Monday at 0700
- Shift times: General IR 0700-1530; Neuro IR 0730-1600 (flexible scheduling possible)
- No holidays currently required for call coverage

- Orientation period: 1-2 weeks with a preceptor
