Advance your imaging career by supporting a dynamic team as an Interventional Radiology Technologist. Contribute vital expertise to patient care and diagnostic procedures within a collaborative environment.
Schedule/Hours:
- 0700-1700 shifts
- Four 9-hour shifts per week
- Call rotation: 7 days on, 7 days off (Monday-Sunday), with on-call hours M-F from 1700-0730, weekends (Saturday-Sunday) 24-hour call coverage
- Every other weekend on call, as needed for department coverage
- Holiday call coverage may be required if it falls within the assignment
Qualifications:
- Valid BLS certification
- ARRT registration
- Active Wisconsin Radiographer License
- Previous Interventional Radiology experience highly preferred
- Specialized experience in Neuro IR is a strong advantage
- Ability to utilize EPIC electronic health records system
- Willingness to float to other onsite departments or to partner sites within a 40-mile radius if required
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventional radiology procedures under physician guidance
- Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records in EPIC
- Prepare and position patients, ensuring safety and comfort at all times
- Adhere to infection control and radiation safety protocols
- Exhibit flexibility with call and weekend coverage to meet department needs
