Qualifications & Desired Experience
- ARRT (R) certification and current state licensure required
- Proven experience in interventional radiology procedures
- Proficiency with imaging equipment (flouro, ultrasound, CT guidance)
- Strong understanding of sterile techniques and radiation safety standards
- Comfortable working in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
- BLS certification and a commitment to ongoing professional development
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including proper documentation
- Monitor patients during procedures, recognizing complications and responding appropriately
- Manage inventory of IR supplies, preparing procedure rooms as needed
- Adhere strictly to infection control and hospital policies
- Educate patients about procedures, offering reassurance and post-care instructions
