Job Description

This opportunity calls for an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist ready to contribute in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The position offers a schedule of 4x9-hour day shifts, providing a consistent work pattern that supports work-life balance. The role requires strong technical skills in imaging, particularly within interventional radiology procedures.

Responsibilities include preparing and assisting with a variety of interventional procedures such as lower and upper extremity angiograms, atherectomy, mesenteric studies, dialysis fistulagram/declot procedures, nephrostomy and biliary tube placements, embolizations, and port insertions. Key duties also involve scrubbing, annotating, and sending images to PACS, as well as circulating during interventions to ensure smooth operation and patient care.

Preferred candidates will have at least one year of experience along with ARRT certification and BLS certification. Experience with peripheral procedures is essential, and familiarity with Toshiba/Cannon interventional imaging systems will be highly advantageous. Specific expertise in nephrogram, kyphoplasty, internal/external biliary drainage, and venous access procedures is preferred.

Schedule and call expectations include working 36 hours per week on a 4x9 shift (7:00 AM to 4:30 PM), with 1-2 weekday on-call shifts and one weekend on-call shift every four weeks. The role involves collaboration with two IR rooms staffed by two interventional radiologists daily, alongside nurses and fellow technologists on call.
