Job Description
This position offers an opportunity for an experienced Imaging IR Tech to contribute to a dynamic healthcare environment. The role involves providing high-quality Interventional Radiology imaging services, ensuring patient safety, and supporting clinical teams with expert imaging techniques.
Schedule & Hours:
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM 5:00 PM
- Weekend/on-call obligation: 4-5 nights per pay period, including one weekend per month
- 30-minute call response time required
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid ARRT certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred but not mandatory
- Proven experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist with strong imaging skills
- Ability to respond promptly during on-call periods and work effectively under pressure
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic vascular and non-vascular interventional radiological procedures
- Prepare patients and equipment for imaging
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure accurate and timely imaging results
- Maintain quality control and adhere to safety protocols
- Respond to on-call situations within the designated response time
