Job Description

A skilled Imaging IR Tech is needed for a rewarding contract opportunity supporting a dynamic radiology team. This position prioritizes patient care in a collaborative clinical setting and provides the chance to build experience with a diverse caseload.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 7:00 AM-5:00 PM, 4 days per week (9-hour shifts)
  • Call schedule: 7 days on call (Monday-Sunday), followed by 7 days off.
  • Call hours: Monday-Friday, 14.5 hours/day; Saturday-Sunday, 24 hours/day
  • Every other weekend call and potential holiday coverage if it falls within the assignment period

Qualifications:

  • BLS certification (Basic Life Support) required
  • ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) required
  • Valid Wisconsin Radiographer License
  • Prior Interventional Radiology experience, including Neuro IR, highly preferred
  • EPIC experience preferred
  • Comfortable floating within scope onsite or to locations within 40 miles if needed
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing work priorities and demonstrate strong team collaboration

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality interventional radiology imaging procedures as ordered
  • Support physicians and nursing staff in the care of patients undergoing IR procedures
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in EPIC
  • Participate in the on-call rotation, responding promptly and efficiently to emergent IR imaging needs
  • Demonstrate attention to patient safety and infection control standards at all times
  • Collaborate effectively within the radiology and broader healthcare teams
