Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification with IR (Interventional Radiology) credentials.
• Current state licensure as required.
• Demonstrated experience in Interventional Radiology within a hospital or clinical environment.
• Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and safety procedures.
• Ability to operate specialized imaging equipment and adapt to new technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective teamwork with physicians, nurses, and patients.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout.
• Operate and maintain radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment during procedures.
• Assist physicians with real-time imaging guidance during interventions such as angiograms, biopsies, and vascular access.
• Maintain detailed documentation and records of each procedure.
• Adhere strictly to infection control, radiation safety, and quality assurance protocols.
• Support post-procedure monitoring of patients and collaborate on follow-up care planning.
• Troubleshoot equipment and collaborate with service personnel as needed.
