Job Description
This role seeks an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist skilled in advanced imaging techniques to support critical patient care. Based in Menomonee Falls, WI, this contract position offers a structured 4-day workweek with a schedule of 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM shifts, each lasting 9 hours. The position requires being on call according to department needs, including 7 days on call followed by 7 days off, with extended call hours during weekdays and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and assist with interventional radiology procedures, including neuro IR cases
- Operate imaging equipment in compliance with safety and quality standards
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate imaging and patient care
- Maintain documentation and support use of EPIC electronic health records
- Flexibly float between onsite departments or nearby facilities (within 40 miles) as needed
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Wisconsin Radiographer License required
- Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT) essential
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proven experience in interventional radiology, with neuro IR strongly preferred
- Ability to handle on-call rotation including some holiday coverage
Schedule and On-Call Details:
- Four 9-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- On call 7 days on, 7 days off; M-F call hours approx. 14.5 hours, weekends 24 hours
- Weekend and holiday call coverage as per departmental requirements
