Qualifications & Experience:

• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology required
• Specialty certification in Interventional Radiology (VI or CV) preferred
• Valid state licensure for Radiologic Technologists
• Current BLS certification
• Previous experience in hospital-based Interventional Radiology or diagnostic imaging encouraged
• Exceptional attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Operate a variety of imaging equipment during IR procedures, ensuring patient safety and high-quality images
• Assist physicians during minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures and maintaining a compassionate environment
• Follow sterile techniques and radiation safety protocols
• Accurately document patient records and procedure details in compliance with hospital policies
• Monitor equipment for proper performance and coordinate maintenance/repairs as needed
• Support the development of IR protocols as requested by department leadership
