Job Description

This contract role offers the chance to collaborate with an expert team delivering advanced imaging services, prioritizing patient safety and innovation.
Schedule/Hours:
- Day shift, 5x8
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Weekend and call coverage as required by the facility
- Assignment duration: 13 weeks
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an IR Tech
- Advanced registry (CI, VI, RCIS) or ARRT (R) required
- BLS from AHA is required
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR system preferred
- Scrub color: Black
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of diagnostic and invasive radiology procedures in accordance with safety protocols
- Assist physicians and the care team during special procedures, supporting both scrub and imaging functions
- Operate specialized radiology and patient care equipment including oxygen, suction, and blood pressure devices
- Administer contrast materials safely, verifying medication reconciliation forms for potential contraindications
- Closely observe patients before, during, and after procedures, utilizing proper immobilization and transfer techniques
- Contribute to a high standard of patient care through consistent documentation and attention to detail
- Adapt as needed to float requirements and fulfill other duties as assigned
