Job Description

Schedule/Hours:

  • Day shift, 5x8
  • 36 guaranteed hours per week
  • Weekend and call coverage as required by the facility
  • Assignment duration: 13 weeks

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an IR Tech
  • Advanced registry (CI, VI, RCIS) or ARRT (R) required
  • BLS from AHA is required
  • Proficiency with EPIC EMR system preferred
  • Scrub color: Black

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide range of diagnostic and invasive radiology procedures in accordance with safety protocols
  • Assist physicians and the care team during special procedures, supporting both scrub and imaging functions
  • Operate specialized radiology and patient care equipment including oxygen, suction, and blood pressure devices
  • Administer contrast materials safely, verifying medication reconciliation forms for potential contraindications
  • Closely observe patients before, during, and after procedures, utilizing proper immobilization and transfer techniques
  • Contribute to a high standard of patient care through consistent documentation and attention to detail
  • Adapt as needed to float requirements and fulfill other duties as assigned
