Qualifications:
- Valid and current ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology
- Minimum of 1 year experience as an Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech preferred
- Registered and licensed to practice as an Imaging or IR Tech in applicable state(s)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform complex imaging procedures for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes under physician direction
- Operate and maintain IR equipment, ensuring quality imaging and patient safety protocols
- Prepare and position patients appropriately for procedures, offering comfort and clear explanations
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members for optimal patient outcomes
- Accurately document imaging procedures and maintain comprehensive records
