Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and operate IR imaging equipment for diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Assist physicians during IR procedures, ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes
  • Maintain accurate, detailed patient records and comply with all regulatory standards
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and liaise with biomedical staff as needed
  • Educate and comfort patients throughout procedures, demonstrating excellent communication skills
  • Contribute to team meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing education opportunities

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current ARRT certification in Radiography and credentialed in Interventional Radiology (VI or CI preferred)
  • State licensure as required
  • Minimum of one year of recent IR Tech experience in a clinical setting
  • Strong knowledge of radiation safety, sterile technique, and interventional procedures
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
