Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate IR imaging equipment for diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Assist physicians during IR procedures, ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes
- Maintain accurate, detailed patient records and comply with all regulatory standards
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and liaise with biomedical staff as needed
- Educate and comfort patients throughout procedures, demonstrating excellent communication skills
- Contribute to team meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing education opportunities
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography and credentialed in Interventional Radiology (VI or CI preferred)
- State licensure as required
- Minimum of one year of recent IR Tech experience in a clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety, sterile technique, and interventional procedures
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
