This opportunity is for an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to support a dynamic vascular and neuro-interventional team in Marietta, GA. The role involves performing a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures, requiring independent judgment and advanced technical skills. This travel position offers the chance to contribute to patient care in a cutting-edge environment, working under the guidance of the Chief Technologist and Vascular Institute Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate imaging equipment to deliver high-quality diagnostic studies.
- Provide safe, age-appropriate care by adhering to standardized department procedures.
- Perform technical procedures in interventional radiology, vascular hybrid, and neuro-interventional settings.
- Independently set up equipment and position patients for imaging and treatment procedures.
- Maintain adherence to safety and infection control practices throughout all procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) preferred.
- Proven experience performing imaging procedures in an IR or vascular hybrid suite.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and initiative in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of imaging equipment operation and patient positioning.
- Dedication to patient safety and delivery of high-standard care.
