This assignment gives you the chance to work alongside experienced providers and APPs, participate in advanced interventional radiology procedures, and learn new leadership approaches. Resume-building exposure to innovative workplace practices, state-of-the-art technology (including Siemens equipment and Sonosite Ultrasound), and a supportive departmental structure promises lasting impact on your clinical expertise.
Schedule/Hours:
- Choose between 4x10-hour shifts (07:0017:30) or 5x8-hour shifts (08:0016:30)
- Call: 34 times per month; weekend call every 5th6th weekend (Friday evening through Monday morning)
- Flexible scheduling every 46 weeks; holiday and time-off requests coordinated with management
Qualifications:
- ARRT-R or RCIS certification required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
- Scrubbing, circulating, and assisting in interventional radiology procedures
- Comfort with EMR systems (EPIC) and a range of imaging equipment
- Open to first-time travel candidates
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with venous access, dialysis lines, ports, TIPS, IVC management, complex embolizations, biopsies, drainages, and access procedures
- Operate, troubleshoot, and monitor imaging equipment
- Provide needed supplies and coordinate with a team of techs and nurses
- Ensure top-quality patient care in a teaching hospital environment
