You will work in an Interventional Radiology department equipped with Siemens, GE, and Philips imaging systems, handling a diverse patient population including trauma, stroke, and complex vascular needs. This academic environment features robust teamwork among neuro specialists, body imaging providers, RN partners, and experienced tech extenders, giving you daily opportunities to learn from leading specialists and expand your expertise.
Schedule/Hours:
- Choice of shifts: 3 x 12h (0800-1830), 4 x 10h (0800-1830), or 5 x 8h (0800-1630)
- Call required: 3-4 days per month; weekend call every 5th-6th weekend (Fri 1630Mon 0800)
- Holiday coverage: Must be willing to work scheduled holidays (approx. 75% expectation)
- Free parking; scrubs provided
Responsibilities:
- Scrub, circulate, and assist in a range of IR procedures (neuro and body)
- Support complex cases, including embolizations, thrombectomies, biopsies, and stroke interventions
- Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and new graduates in a teaching-focused environment
- Utilize EPIC Encompass EMR and assorted imaging technologies
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years recent IR Body/Neuro experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting
- ARRT-R or RCIS required; BLS required
- NIHSS, ACLS preferred
- Comfortable working with new grads and providing guidance
