Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an IR Tech
- Current and active BLS certification
- ARRT (RT(R)) certification required
- Strong familiarity with IR procedures and operating imaging equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Previous travel or contract experience preferred, but not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assist with interventional radiology procedures
- Operate imaging equipment with precision and in adherence to safety protocols
- Accurately record patient data and maintain comprehensive procedure documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Monitor patients throughout procedures, responding to their needs and maintaining a comforting environment
