Job Description
This travel opportunity is ideal for an experienced Interventional Radiologic Technologist seeking to support advanced imaging procedures. The role requires living at least 100 miles from the assignment location, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM plus on-call responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform radiological functions for special procedures and interventional examinations
- Assist physicians during interventional procedures by providing diagnostic imaging and support
- Conduct organ and body scans to aid in diagnosis
- Administer and document isotope dosages following departmental protocols
- Observe patients during procedures, reporting any abnormal activity promptly
Qualifications and Experience:
- Associates degree or equivalent from an approved Radiologic Technology program
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- State/District Radiologic Technology license in good standing
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum two years of relevant experience
- Familiarity with current state Radiation Quality Standards
Work Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
- On-call duties as required
