As an Imaging - IR Tech, this position allows you to immerse yourself in a diverse healthcare environment, broadening your technical and clinical expertise. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate interventional radiology equipment for diagnostic imaging and procedures
- Assist physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures such as angiograms or stent placements
- Monitor patient safety, comfort, and vital signs throughout procedures
- Maintain strict adherence to hospital protocols, ensuring optimal image quality and infection control
- Accurately document procedures, images, and patient data in electronic health records
- Provide support and compassionate communication to patients and families before, during, and after procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
- ARRT (R) certification with current state licensure as required
- Recent experience in interventional radiology or a related imaging discipline
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, sterile technique, and imaging equipment operation
- Effective teamwork, adaptability, and initiative in dynamic settings
- Current BLS certification
