Schedule & Work Details:
- 4x10 hour shifts, MondayFriday (9:00am7:30pm)
- Rotating day off, on-call, and weekend duties
- Must be able to report within 30 minutes when on call (50 mile radius requirement waived)
- Virtual interview (one round)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality IR procedures following established protocols for both ambulatory and hospital patients
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, ensuring comfort and clarity about procedures
- Prepare patients and procedure areas, maintaining strict adherence to safety, infection control, and radiation protocols
- Accurately document all procedures, histories, and imaging records in electronic systems
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot imaging equipment with support teams
- Serve as a preceptor to new staff when needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IR; trauma-body and neuro-stroke experience required
- Active BLS (AHA), TX-MRT, ARRT credentials; ARRT-VI preferred
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred; Level I Trauma Center background a plus
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and work independently
- Strong emphasis on customer service and patient satisfaction
