Support the delivery of exceptional care as an Interventional Radiology Technologist in a fast-paced hospital setting located in Huntersville, NC. This travel position offers an opportunity to apply your professional skills in a dynamic environment serving both adult and pediatric patients from emergency departments, ICUs, nursing units, and outpatient services.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures using advanced imaging technologies, including Siemens single-plane, bi-plane, and Cannon bi-plane equipment.
- Collaborate effectively within a diverse departmental team comprised of lead techs, modality supervisors, and imaging managers.
- Maintain high clinical standards, ensuring safety and quality care for 25-30 patients daily.
- Adapt to assigned shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd, or weekends) as stipulated in the 13-week travel contract.
- Participate fairly in on-call rotations and holiday coverage, with manager approval required for RTO.
- Engage in a comprehensive orientation, including facility and departmental tours, with flexibility to accommodate traveler needs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology.
- Valid BLS certification and ARRT-R certification are required.
- Strong clinical skills and confidence working in a high patient acuity environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, cooperative attitude toward teamwork.
