Skills and Qualifications:

• Registered and certified as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
• Current ARRT certification and state licensure as required
• Proficient in IR imaging procedures, including fluoroscopy, CT guidance, and angiography
• Strong understanding of sterile technique and radiation safety
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment independently
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for patient interactions and collaboration with medical staff
• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience in an IR Tech role (preferred)
• BLS and/or ACLS certification (as required by facility)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients for diagnostic and therapeutic IR procedures
• Assist physicians in complex interventional procedures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols
• Select and operate appropriate imaging equipment while maintaining image quality
• Monitor patient conditions and document procedural details accurately
• Maintain strict compliance with infection control and safety guidelines
• Manage equipment setup, breakdown, and maintenance as needed
• Participate in quality assurance activities and continuing education
